Herman “The Hermanator” Carrier #83
Married: Wendy
Children: Blake 14 & Heidi 11
Crew Members: Mavis (mom), Snoball (dad), Jake Bowen, Blake Carrier
Herman began racing with the Cajun Sprinters in 1994. That year Herman was voted fans favorite driver. Since Herman began racing a sprint car, the CSA is the only series in which he has supported full time. Herman has raced in some ASCS and Supr Sprint races over his 16 year racing career. This CSA veteran has won many titles throughout his career which includes the following : 5th place finishes in 2000 & 2009, 4th place finish in 2006, 3rd place in 2007. In 2001 Herman won the hard luck award after a season of bent parts and broken pocket book but rebounded and in 2002 finished 2nd just a few points from the points champion. In 2008 Herman received the sportsmanship award which meant a lot to him because it was voted on by fellow drivers and crew members of the CSA.
Herman along with his wife Wendy have been actively involved in promoting CSA sprint car events along the gulf coast as well as being board members for the past several years . Herman has been elected president for two times in 2008 and 2010.
Being some what of a low budget racer “The Hermanator” according to fellow racers has the unique ability to do more with “less” than any of his fellow drivers, this goes with much thanks to all who have supported him over the years Tim’s Engines, Jakes Body Shop, O’Reilly auto parts, A-auto, Hilltop Market and Deli, Grafix 2 Good by Wendy and most of all his family and friends.
Herman hopes to continue to drive a few more years until his son Blake can join him on the track and then just maybe that will be his time to win the title CSA POINTS CHAMP along with his son finishing right behind him in 2nd.
Brandon began his racing career in 1989 as a crew chief on a drag racing team, then switched gears into the sprint car world in the early 90’s as a crew chief and then finally deciding to try his luck as a sprint car driver in 2005. Brandon began racing with the Cajun Sprinters in the 2005 season and was awarded Rookie of the Year and placed 6th in points that same year. After the 2005 season, Brandon sold his car and raced a limited season in 2006. In 2007, Brandon drove the C&C Transportation #29 car for friend and car owner Clint Chapman; that season Brandon placed 2nd in the points championship race. After only racing a few races in 2008, Brandon was more than ready to get back out on the track for the 2009 season. In 2009, Brandon was given the opportunity to team up with longtime friend and driver #01 Shane Morgan from Morgan Racing Team and his dad, Ronnie Morgan. The 2009 season was a great one with a 4th place points in the championship and a 2nd place finish by my teammate, Shane. Together, we also earned the Best Appearing Crew and Best Appearing Car for the 2009 season also. Brandon can’t wait to get back out on the track for the 2010 season and looks forward to making this season even better that ever! Enjoys Most About Racing: competition & friends

Biography: I have been racing for 23 years now, beginning with kart racing at the age of 7. In 1998, I began racing Mini-Sprints and won the SOWRA Championship in 2000. Beginning in 2001, I raced with several different sanctions, including ASCS, USCS, and SUPR. I finished 4th in points with the SUPR sanction in 2003, and 3rd in 2004. In 2004, I raced one race with the CSA and decided that they were the association for me! My family and I enjoyed the people within the sanction so much, that they became a second family to us. I won the CSA Championships in 2005 & 2006. Also in 2005 & 2006, I raced in Charlotte, North Carolina at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in the ASCS Heintz Performance Championships, and I finished top 5 in 2005 & top 10 in 2006. I have served as a board member with the CSA sanction. In 2007, I decided to run full time with the ASCS Coastal Region, and I finished 3rd in points with them that year. I came back to the CSA in 2008, receiving a 2nd place points finish for the year. Midway through the 2008 season, there was a split between Cumberland Motorsports (now Savage Motorsports), causing my father and I to go out on our own, so we created Morgan Racing. Then in 2009, our one car team became a two car team, when I acquired a team mate in my long time friend Brandon Olsen. Morgan Racing now consists of car #01 & car #02. The 2009 season was completed with earning several awards, including my points championship finish of 2nd place & Brandon’s finish of 4th. The team was also awarded Best Appearing Cars & Crew in 2009. We look forward to a successful season in 2010! See you all at the races!!
